Meet The Artist
April Reid is a full time contemporary fine artist based in the English countryside.
She enjoys a wide range of mediums but primarily sticks to painting and charcoal.
​"I create pieces of anything and everything I enjoy, combining my love for painting with my hobbies and passions.
​I started my art career at 16 doing pet portraits for friends and family. It's slowly evolved over time trying different mediums and styles, until almost 10 years later - I've been a full time artist for 2 years now and my main focus areas are Charcoal hyperrealism, Acrylic abstract realism and Oil impressionism.
​I love creating pieces around Wildlife, Formula 1 / Sport and Film, I also still have a love for pet and animal portraits!
It's my 2024 mission to settle on a style, but until then, you'll see a wide range of things!"
